Double Check These Details Before Running a PPC Campaign

The time has come to run a PPC campaign. You’ve done your homework and you’re excited to see if all of your research pays off.

While you’re anxious to push your campaign live, don’t do so until you double check these three important details:

•    Ad copy. This is the engine behind your PPC campaign. If you don’t have stellar ad copy you can’t expect to drive a large amount of traffic to your website. So, before you do anything, review your ad copy to ensure that it’s perfect.
•    Landing page copy. Just the same as your ad copy, you can’t afford any mistakes here. This is the first thing people will see after clicking your ad and visiting your website. You never know how well your landing page will perform, but you want to put yourself in the best possible position to succeed.
•    Advertising budget. How much money are you willing to spend per click? How much money are you willing to spend per day? If you don’t double check these financial details, you could soon find that you made a mistake. For example, you don’t want to set your max bid at $100 when $10 is all you can afford.

There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to running a PPC campaign. Once you have everything in place, it’s time to double check the details above (as well as any others you consider important).

Fortunately, as you gain more experience and knowledge, you’ll better understand what you should and should not be doing. At that point, it’s easier to run campaigns with 100 percent confidence.
